Calosso and how it all started
A house on top of a hill Calosso, a charming village atop a picturesque hill, finds itself nestled amidst a delightful array of wine houses. Serving as both the village's namesake and comune (municipality), it is situated in the Province of Asti, within the scenic region of Piedmont in Italy. Located approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) southeast of Turin and about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Asti, Calosso graces the hilly landscape between the Tanaro and Belbo rivers, marking the boundary between the enchanting regions of Monferrato and Langa. During the Covid-summer of 2020, we stumbled upon Calosso and were immediately smitten. Searching for houses in Italy had been an enjoyable online hobby during the uneventful winter and spring. As our passion grew, we decided to take action. After two trips to Italy, we successfully secured the deal, and the dream house in Calosso became ours.
